Some ‘dawgs don’t have their day

My beloved Vols were 17 points in the hole against Georgia yesterday when they came back and played an entire game of football in the second half. Final score: 51-33! The offensive line was amazing and Erik Ainge was on all cylinders. Even the defense looked sharp in the second half after a lackluster first. I just have three words: special teams…help, please. OK, that’s four. And in the “if only” department, that 1-point loss to Florida a few weeks ago hurts all the more now. Must look ahead…there’s ‘Bama in two weeks on the fabled Third Saturday in October and anything can happen in the SEC. And this weekend proved it with conference losses for #2 Auburn and #9 LSU. Hey, if you can go undefeated in the SEC, screw the BCS. You should just get the National Championship trophy hauled in a float made of marshmellows and chocolate right there.

Go Auburn this weekend. If they can beat Florida, it opens things up a lot.
I think Auburn could win that game!
